Game Engine Devlog Part 9 - V1.00 Commercial Release

I am pleased to announce that the first commercial release of CalmCity is now available for purchase at itch.io:


This release features many large changes since the previous alpha version, including but not limited to:
  • all of the placeholder art has been replaced
  • it's now using a reverse depth buffer (because it's basically magic)
  • a random events system has been implemented
  • costs have been balanced.
  • the save file type has been updated, making it future proofed but incompatible with alpha saves
  • many bugs have been squashed
